Arcadia Christian Academy Breaking Jam: A Celebration of Growth, Community & Breaking

What an incredible way to close out our first year of breaking at Arcadia Christian Academy!

Our inagural ACA Breaking Jam brought together students, families, and the local breaking community for an afternoon filled with music, movement, creativity, and friendly competition. More than a tournament, the Jam is a celebration of everything our students have worked toward throughout the school year.

The event kicked off with showcases from our youngest breakers, who courageously stepped into the spotlight and demonstrated just how much they've grown. Their confidence, enthusiasm, and willingness to perform in front of a packed crowd set the tone for an unforgettable afternoon.

As the battles unfolded, our students displayed incredible sportsmanship, resilience, and creativity. Every competitor who entered the cypher represented Apex Breaking and Arcadia Christian Academy with character and heart.

Congratulations to all four finalists for putting on outstanding performances. The level of growth we witnessed throughout the season was evident in every round.

The excitement continued with an incredible featured showcase battle between Gravity and Bambam, whose creativity, musicality, and explosive style inspired students of every age.

Our Main Event featured an unforgettable showdown between Weapon X and Conrad. Their battle showcased everything that makes breaking such a powerful art form—originality, athleticism, rhythm, and expression—and was the perfect way to cap off an amazing day.

A special thank you to Dr. Ben for sharing the art of footbag with our students. His demonstration reminded everyone that movement, creativity, and mastery can take many forms, and it was a unique highlight of the event.

We'd also like to recognize the talented dancers from Rhythmic Dance Complex, whose performance added another exciting dimension to the afternoon and celebrated the broader dance community that continues to support and inspire our students.

None of this would have been possible without DJ Tyger, whose music kept the energy high all afternoon, B-Boy House, who did an incredible job serving as our Floor Marshal, our judges, our volunteers, the staff and administration at Arcadia Christian Academy, and every family who packed the room to cheer on these amazing young athletes.

At Apex Breaking, we believe breaking is about much more than learning moves. Through one of the world's most expressive art forms, our students develop rhythm, confidence, creativity, athleticism, resilience, and character—qualities that will serve them far beyond the dance floor.
